Axian worked with AbbVie on an exploratory study focused on HCP and patient responses to a digital aRMM concept. We presented website and app concepts to groups of rheumatologists, dermatologists and patients with rheumatological and dermatological conditions in 6 countries, and found that the majority of HCPs and all patients in the study were open to using digital aRMM either alone, or alongside paper materials. There were also interesting points raised around the perception by HCPs that older patients would prefer paper materials, which was not borne out by the patient results, and around the preference for the format of the digital tool (website vs. app). We hope this small study has provided food for thought and ideas for future directions of research and we look forward to seeing a growing evidence base for end user preferences in aRMM delivery.
